Jazz music is one of the few art forms where an inspirational total truly is far greater than the sum of its constituent parts. This is especially true of ABA & the Company, the new house band at our Dada Bar + Lounge. Equal parts subtle jazz and raunchy R&B, the 4-piece ensemble's sounds are now performing at The Luxe Manor.

The two creative driving forces behind the band are Mark Peter and Al Gordon. A versatile Canadian, Mark earned his chops as an accomplished musical director with legendary acts such as The Supremes and The Temptations. As the son of a well-known Pittsburgh club owner, Drummer Al Gordon, meanwhile, practically has jazz in his family blood and been performing for almost 40 years.

Accompanied by their 2 sidemen, the two really do make wonderfully uplifting jazz together. Do yourself a favour and give your ears a real treat when you check them out at Dada Bar + Lounge from 9 pm to 1am nightly/Thursday to Saturday.
